ππΌ Welcome to SwiftlyRush
Did you know that there are roughly 2.8million iOS Developers out there? Take this number with a huge pinch of salt as I found this during some research into Indie Developers, but I do wonder how many of those are solely making their own apps on the App Store?
Getting this number is hard of course, it would require a survey across the entire developer base and even then what would define an Indie Developer, this covers my previous topic on last weeks newsletter.
This week, I explored Indie Developers even further, and many people would define those as someone who is building apps and using the income to live off. Well, I like this version because ultimately isn't that the end goal for Indie Developers? However, notice the word "sole income" wasn't mentioned?!
As I continue my research, I have sketched a few new articles that I plan to release in the coming weeks covering all the thoughts around Indie Developers and how we can continue the indie developer revolution. It's come at a fascinating time as Apple has released their quarterly results and I found those staggering, the link is below.
For now, have a great week ahead!
