ππΌ Welcome to SwiftlyRush
Lots of changes happening in the world of social media.
I thought that the whole Twitter, Mastodon would have blown over by now but it seems that people really have fallen out of love for the popular platform Twitter. I have seen first hand the drop in interactions from people within the tech industry and I am not sure what the future holds.
More recently, Twitter has become X and the changes happening there are fast and bold. I have not gotten used to Mastodon, although I have an account there it's not something I am active on and within our SwiftLeeds team we're trying to work out what the future really holds.
Mainly, because we want to keep our community updated on changes and updates, perhaps email is something that people will keep hold of?
What are your thoughts? Let me know
Have a great week ahead π«ΆπΌ

Mastering StoreKit 2 by Majid
StoreKit provides us with an opportunity to make revenue from our apps. It allows us to set up the purchase flow for in-app purchases and subscriptions. StoreKit 2 introduces a modern Swift-based API to build type-safe in-app purchases. This week we will start the series of posts about StoreKit 2.
The difference between @StateObject and @ObservedObject in SwiftUI by Natascha Fadeeva
An @ObservedObject is reinitialized every time their containing view redraws. Since SwiftUI might recreate a view at any time, using @ObservedObject might lead to unwanted behaviour. The solution is to use @StateObject property wrapper instead which makes sure the view model retains between view redraws so we don't lose any state.
