👋🏼 Welcome to SwiftlyRush
The conference FOMO is really kicking in for many people, including myself. I love attending conferences. It's something I have done since the very beginning of my iOS career; in fact, I was attending a UK-based meetup discussing iOS 6, and now that truly shows my age.
This week DeepDishSwift was launched by Josh Holtz, and he always says that the inspiration to start this conference was on the back of attending SwiftLeeds (the conference I founded in 2020). It's truly inspirational and makes me smile lots and lots to see the work I have done that inspires and motivates others to have a go.
I sadly couldn't attend Josh's conference, which created massive FOMO when I saw all the incredible photos uploaded on Twitter. However, the point is this, if you see something and you think you could create something that would improve the lives or support others in their careers, then give it a shot.
The story of DeepDishSwift is exactly that and shows anything is possible.
Well done, Josh, Kari and the team getting this fabulous conference launched in Chicago, US!
Have a great week ahead!
